Hi Folks,

Wednesday night seen me attend my second photo charter within the space of a week, this one was slightly different as it was organised by Neil Cave, viewers to this site will know I generally attend shoots organised by Jason Cross and the EMRPS, Neil Cave's shoot - which took place at Barrow Hill Roundhouse near Chesterfield - was to involve a series of cameo's within the Roundhouse itself.

Until now, I have never done cameo's (where train crews pose with the locomotives doing maintenance, cleaning etc) and as such it was something different - rather than just posing a train and snapping away to my hearts content, which of course there is nothing wrong with that whatsoever ;).

Having done the cameo scenes inside, we headed out where 3 locomotives were lit up, lighting was courtesy of Jason Cross, and we had:

• LNER Class A1 Tornado 
• LNER Class A4 Mallard
• Class 55 Deltic 55002 The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry 

As with before, some more cameo scenes were posed with the steam locomotives, as well as some stand alone photo opportunities, the Deltic, which was at the bottom of the yard was lit up on her own.

All in all, it was an excellent night of photography, and I came away one very happy bunny. I certainly look forward to attending more of Neil's (and Jason's of course) in the future.
