A guided tour of Aldwych London Underground Station, which became out of use to passengers in 1994, and sat on a small branch of the Piccadilly Line from Holborn Station. Opening in 1907 as Strand, the branch was originally twin track but with low patronage even then, one line and platform was taken out of use in 1913. Strand was renamed Aldwych in 1915, and in 1962 services were reduced to peak hours on weekdays only, and remained as such until eventual closure by London Underground in 1994.
