As many of you are aware, I was able to obtain a small number of photo's from the servers from my ex-Fotopic site in October 2012 however I was unable to obtain the full quota owing to some technical issue on their end, however over the course of the weekend, I was able to download the rest of  my images and as such they are all now on my computer hard drive currently awaiting categorizing into folders and then uploaded to relevant collections on my site.

I am anticipating this will take a while to do as over the 5 years I had Fotopic, I had amassed a collection of around 13,000 images and as such I will need to go through each one to see whether or not I want them to feature on here, I am almost certain to bin most images from around when my Fotopic site was started in the winter of 2005 and some from 2006, although quite a few from 2006 have made it on here although this is mainly for the purpose of archiving images such as the old rainbow livery for First Great Western, and Class 37's working on the Cardiff - Rhymney services as well as additional loco-hauled stuff for events at the Millennium Stadium.

Another pointer to point out, which I believe to be of equal importance is that there will be a fair few duplicated shots as well, what I want to do - or intend to do rather - is once I am satisfied the images on my computer are of satisfactory quality I will then trawl through each gallery and delete the duplicates, the better quality ones will obviously stay on here.

I will of course be out with the camera over this time capturing more up to date stuff and of course processing these images will take precedence over the older ex-Fotopic stuff, and I will also include ex-Fotopic updates as well in the blog as and when I do them.
