Situated just off of Junction 22 of the M1 Motorway in North-West Leicestershire lies the abandoned Markfield Service Station. The main building closed in 2014 but the filling station soldiered on until 2020 when that to finally closed. Although I've not seen it myself, apparently there are still Burger King adverts and furniture still in situ within the main building (last tenants before closure in 2014).
