What is now going to be a biennial event, Direct Rail Services hosted another fantastic Open Day, this time at their Carlisle Kingmoor Depot in Cumbria. The event seen a number of locomotives on display from Class 57, 66, 68 and 88.
Two locomotives were also named;
66429 Charlie Birse.
66431 Kingmoor TMD.
All photo's taken using a Nikon D500 and Nikon Coolpix S3500.
I would also like to make a special mention to the Border Concert Band who were playing some brilliant pieces of music throughout the day, I think I spent as much time just listening to their music as I did looking at the locomotives.
