A nosey around the former Rugby Central Railway Station and the immense Ashlawn Cutting. Built to a standard island platform design, Rugby Central opened in March 1899. Closure as a through route happened in September 1966, and the station lingered on as a DMU terminus from Nottingham until May 1969.
