Generally, as a rule, Saturday's are not usually the best days if you fancy a day of railway photography but this particular Saturday was different.
Seeing some gen that 37501 was working a unit move to Bletchley which was timed to pass my local location of Burbage Common it was rude not to go for it. I did also need to see 37501 in her new guise of British Steel Blue - a livery she carried back in 1987.
As it was a nice day, I looked to see where a second shot was doable as the ensemble would runround in Nuneaton to continue South towards Bletchley, and I settled for a lane adjacent to Daventry International Railfreight Terminal, although in days gone by it was more popularly known as Barby Nortoft. Apart from the Class 37, a nice selection of freight was had too.
