Having had spent most of the day photographing certain trains on the adjacent mainline, I decided to take a quick flight around the defunct Willington Power Station in Derbyshire. The 5 remaining cooling towers have been a well known landmark on the South Derbyshire skyline since closure of the power station back in 1999.
As ever, I was stood on a public footpath enabling line of sight to be kept with the drone, as well as consulting with Drone Assist prior to launch.
