Where as this year gone??, already at October and I must say what a good start to the month it has been too, the day started by heading to Barrow Upon Trent again, with the main aim of getting 60059 working 6E54 Kingsbury - Humber empty bogie tanks, however this was a late starter (70 minutes) and as such only 70004 was photographed, working 4Z68 Ratcliffe Power Station - Crewe Basford Hall empty coal hoppers. However we couldn't really stay around as we needed to be at Cossington for the first of 2 loco convoys featuring 56311 dragging 47765, 25279, 55002, 37350, 50026 and 56091 working 0X56 12:14 Fletton - Hotchley Hill, then it was back over to Barrow Upon Trent for 60054 working 6E41 Westerleigh - Lindsey empty bogie tanks and also for our second convoy which featured 31602 dragging 33108 and 45133 on 0Z34 15:32 Butterley - Kidderminster (S.V.R), however by time the convoy arrived there was a huge black could over Willington and the surrounding area and as such the shot was too dark (this was subsequently binned), however a fast car move to Elford Loop down the A38 and A513 paid dividends as the convoy was just entering the loop when we pulled up. Afterwards it was home time.
