The British Rail Class 58 is a class of locomotive designed for heavy freight, which was introduced in 1983. The class was withdrawn from service in 2002 by EWS following the introduction of the Class 66 locomotives. 32 of the class was hired abroad with 4 to Holland, 8 to Spain and 20 to France.
