A first time for the EMRPS, and this was a night shoot involving 2 heritage buses, A Leyland Titan PD3, number 48 and Metro Scania, number 301, both in the attractive livery of Leicester City Transport.

The period being recreated was between the mid-1970's and the early 1980's when both buses were seen in Leicester working side by side, this was also a childhood memory for the charter's organiser Jason Cross. The Metro Scania being a "one man" operated vehicle which was superseding the "crew operated" Titan PD3. The vehicles were posed at certain locations around the city with some suburb shots first before moving into the city centre.

We also had re-enactors courtesy of Central Scenes to add some life into the images portraying period passengers.

***DISCLAIMER***

At no point during the evening was myself, the supporting crew, re-enactors, other photographers and motorists placed in danger. All photos were taken from public vantage points.
