On the 25th April 2011, this website was born. I had originally hosted my images with Fotopic.net between 2005 and 2011 but unfortunately Fotopic ceased in April 2011, after what was many months, I finally managed to start downloading my images in October 2012 from the Fotopic servers and as such the captioning for these have almost finished.

The last 800 days have been somewhat varied with new liveries appearing on road and rail vehicles and also of note is the overhaul program of the Class 60 diesel locomotives, with 60007 being the first one and subsequently being repainted in the house colours of DB Schenker, although 60011 was the first loco to be given the DB Schenker livery although as of 03/07/2013 hasn't been overhauled.

Of course we have also seen new road vehicles appear too with the new Mercedes Benz Actros MP4 proving to be a popular choice of vehicle for UK and European road hauliers likewise the new Volvo FH is also looking quite nice as well. At the moment both the road and railways are proving to be somewhat varied and as such there seems to be a lot of capture on the line side or road side.

With nearly 21000 images to view there is something for everyone to view whether your forte is trucks, trains, buses or just general landscape or miscellaneous photography.

As for the next 800 days, and beyond well it is my ambition to carry on with the site, and capturing (or try to anyway) the latest goings on with railways and road haulage as well as buses, and with the arrival of the Class 68's imminent for DRS, Class 66's for GBRf and - hopefully more overhauled Class 60's rolled out of Toton for DB Schenker there will be plenty to see. Vehicle wise, we also have 63-plate registrations due soon as well so no doubt these will feature as well.

• 37/4 overhaul program for DRS
• New car transporter vehicles for Eddie Stobart Ltd
• Launch of the Mercedes Benz Actros MP4
• Launch of the new Volvo FH
• DB Schenker repaints on locomotives (albeit slow and gradual)

I'm sure there's many more highlights too but everyone would be too exhaustive to list.
